!! VICTORIAN FAYRE CANCELLED !!
We are really sorry, this was the last thing we wanted to do, but we regret to advise that due to the massive increase in Covid-19 cases over the last two days we have had to make the very difficult decision to cancel our Victorian Fayre this Sunday, 19th December.
We genuinely share your disappointment not least because we have invested a lot of time and effort into organising this event, therefore we want to reassure you that this decision was not taken lightly, but as always, the health and safety of our volunteers, traders and the general public is our highest priority and we feel this is the responsible thing to do.
We appreciate some may not understand our decision since we are an outdoor event, but it appears we have returned to uncertain times with this new variant and as an organisation we cannot put the lives of our community at risk and hope that you can respect how difficult it was to come to this decision.
We look forward to being able to successfully run our 2022 events.
In the meantime, please stay safe, look after each other and thank you so much for all your support.
Today has been a day of mixed emotions, we would have been celebrating our second year of trading as a fully independent market but unfortunately it wasn't to be, on a positive we will be back next month.
We are really looking forward to it, we miss our traders and the lovely buzz the market creates in the town. We are planning the provisions we will have in place to ensure it is as safe as possible for our volunteers, traders, entertainers and of course visitors.
Thank you for all your support throughout what can only be described as this madness and we look forward to welcoming you all back on the 19th December for our Victorian Fayre.
We will be sharing the line up of our amazing traders shortly so keep an eye on the event - https://fb.me/e/1jqIRiP1n
